2008 U.S. Olympians

August 7, 2008 – 10:56 am by Kim

The 2008 Olympic games start tomorrow and I’m so excited. You have to wait an entire four years to watch the world’s top athletes compete and it is simply one of the best displays of human kinetics.

Watching the Olympics can also bring you back to your glory days of high school athletics, when you were at the top of your game. All athletes had to start somewhere and here is a list of where some of the top U.S. Olympians got their start.

For more information on your favorite Olympians and to view the Olympic schedule, visit the official website.

  2. watching them perform, and how focused and dedicted they are, it’s sometimes hard to believe how young these kids are. Checking out the high school they attend adds interesting perspective on where they come from. thx

  3. I am quite suprised at how many of the olympians went to private or alternative schools. They all have varying backgrounds, very interesting. Thanks for the in depth report
