Top US High Schools 2008

The United States of America has more than 18,000 public high schools. The US News ranks schools on how they prepare their students for college. The algorithm for determining the rankings uses K-12 data research analysis and School Evaluation Services.
Ultimately, the schools are evaluated by student’s performance on state tests, disadvantaged students performance and the school’s college-level courses.
