Tiffany Shepherd; Miss Bikini Teacher

It’s been a while since I blogged here. Figured I’d get back into things with a bang

Tiffany Shepherd was a biology teacher at Port St. Lucie High School, until last week when she was fired.

Miss Shepherd claims she was fired abruptly after the school found out she was working as a bikini mate for ‘Smokin Em’ Charters, a fishing boat that offers fishing excursions with bikini clad (or less) females. (Why didn’t I think of that business idea? Kidding.)

The St. Lucie School District defended their decision saying that Shepherd was dismissed due to her plentiful absences at the school, missing 30 days so far this year. The district also noticed that:

a) Shepherd was previously fired from another school for the same reason; excessive absenteeism.

b) Shepherd was released BEFORE the district was aware of her bikini gig

FYI, Shepherd will be paid until the end of the school year.

A few things…

1. ‘Smokin Em’ Charters has a penchant for making splashes in the news. Just weeks ago, they made local headlines by getting kicked out of the city marina for violating its family-friendly atmosphere.
2. Shepherd took the second job after a divorce caused her to have financial strains and surprise, she wasn’t making enough money teaching!
3. Shepherd said she received a text message from her students this week with the message “We Miss You!”

Regarding #3; if my high school teacher looked anything like Tiffany Shepherd, I’d also send her text message saying how much I missed her!
